Our dogs play an essential role in our hunts, and we treat them with the same admiration and respect as our human hunting buddies. If you join one of our hunting expeditions, you’re sure to meet them. We train each hunting dog in the intricate skills of pointing and retrieving, and, unlike most dogs, our much–loved dogs benefit from exploring a 2500–acre prime hunting ground every day.
Victor. A German Shorthaired Pointer, Victor is registered in Canada and the United States. He is a four–year–old, all–black dog with high energy and power — the flagship dog of our Shorthaired Pointers. Victor has been KS trained for land and water and has several points through each field day. Bred from German lines, Victor is available for stud service.
Hooch. Happy and loveable, this two–year–old Yellow Labrador Retriever shows excellent retrieving skills. A great hunter, Hooch is also available for stud service.
Ringo. A one–year–old, black and white German Shorthaired Pointer, Ringo displays a sleek and sneaky hunting style. He’s an excellent pointer with superb bloodlines: a real treat to watch out on a hunt. Although Ringo has had several chances to win tournaments, it seems bad luck always finds him in the end. Ringo is available for stud service.
Tank. This one–year–old German Shorthaired Pointer was named for his size: He truly is a large dog. White with black tic marks, Tank has a stylish and showy hunting style. Don’t let his size fool you, though; he’s very calm and dossal. Excellent in pointing and retrieving, Tank comes from excellent bloodlines. He is available for stud service. Tank also qualified and will be competing at the World Championship.
Cash. A black and white German Wirehaired Pointer, Cash is one year old. He has a unique style and is an excellent pointer and retriever. Extremely high in energy, Cash is a very loveable dog and a joy to watch while he’s hunting. Cash is doing very well in the standings and also qualified for nationals. Cash is available for stud service.
C.J. Our veteran dog, C.J. is a seven–year–old Black Labrador Retriever. An amazing retriever and great hunter, she has become a cherished member of the Ringneck Retreat family.
If you raise your own prize hunters, contact us for information about our stud services.
